Bob is a native of Hamptonville, NC where he was born and raised with Southern family values. He was Valedictorian, Student Body President, and Editor of the Yearbook at Starmount High School. He studied at Wake Forest University on an academic scholarship and earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree in 1986. He has been in the Real Estate/Mortgage Lending industry over 37 years. He started with Allegacy Federal Credit Union on 11/5/2012 as a Mortgage Loan Officer and now serves as a Mortgage Loan Advisor. In this role Bob helps members make smart financial choices with refinancing or purchasing a new home. He was Allegacy’s Mortgage Loan Officer of the Year for 2022. He also served on the inaugural Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Council at Allegacy. He is a certified Real Estate Paralegal (1986) as well as a licensed NC Real Estate Broker (2001). He sits on the Appraiser/Broker/Lender Forum for the Winston Salem Regional Association of Realtors and won Committee Chair of the Year in 2013. His robust skill set in Real Estate and Mortgage Lending allows him to contribute valuable insights to the industry and to help Allegacy members, Realtors, and other referral partners to be their best.
